The five-chapter campaign

Each chapter is harder than the last: less money, stricter guests, bigger goals.

  1. 1

    Chapter 1★★★★★Free

    Sunny Meadows

Your uncle left you a patch of flat meadow and a small loan. Build your first rides, open the gates and make people smile.

    Twist
Flat, easy land to learn on — but word travels fast: guests expect a little more every month, and they write reviews.
    Goal
200 guests, a rating of 575 and a 3.5★ review average held for 6 days (two months), by the end of October, Year 1
  2. 2

    Chapter 2★★★★★Free

    Hilltop Fair

A breezy fairground on rolling hills. The locals love a good view — and a good scare.

    Twist
Hilly land: you’ll need to level ground for paths.
    Goal
Park rating of 650 and a 3.5★ review average held for 9 days (three months), by the end of Year 2
  3. 3

    Chapter 3★★★★★Free

    Lakeside Leisure

A pretty lake draws visitors every summer. Turn the lakeshore into a destination.

    Twist
A lake takes up prime land — plan your paths around it.
    Goal
Park value of $40,000 by the end of Year 2
  4. 4

    Chapter 4★★★★★Free

    Rusty Rides Rescue

You bought a failing park with dirty paths and worn-out rides. The bank is watching. Turn it around.

    Twist
Starts with old rides, litter everywhere and a big loan.
    Goal
Raise the park rating to 700 and win back the reviewers: a month with no more than 20% 1-star reviews, by the end of Year 2
  5. 5

    Chapter 5★★★★★Free

    Tycoon Valley

Big land, big expectations. Guests are picky, rides wear out fast and money is tight.

    Twist
Tycoon difficulty: faster breakdowns, stricter guests.
    Goal
600 guests with a rating of 700 by the end of Year 3

8 themed scenarios

Stairs, raised walkways, bridges on trestles, cable lifts and ferries: new ways to build on new ground. Each map suggests a decoration theme that starts researched.

Lakeside Lights: A big lake fills the middle of the map: build around it, and out over it on raised walkways. by dayLakeside Lights: A big lake fills the middle of the map: build around it, and out over it on raised walkways. at night

Lakeside Lights

A sleepy lakeside promenade with a creaky pier and two tired rides. Bring back the summer nights: lights on the water, boats and fireworks.

Grandma Rosa ran the Lakeside Lights for forty summers. The bulbs are dark now, the pier creaks and the island in the lake has been cut off since the old footbridge washed away. The town still remembers the fireworks over the water. Light it up again: bridge the lake, fill it with boats and make the reviews sing.

Twist
A big lake fills the middle of the map: build around it, and out over it on raised walkways.
Goal
A park rating of 650 held for 2 days, a 3.3★ review average held for 6 days and a walkway out to the lake island, by the end of Year 2

Terrace Gardens

A grand old garden climbs a hillside in six stone terraces. Stairs, narrow lawns and lily ponds: fit a park in between the flowerbeds.

The Duchess’s terraced gardens are opening to the public at last, and she has asked you to add a little fun, tastefully. Six terraces rise from the gate to the wooded hilltop, joined by old stone stairs. Flat land is scarce, so think in layers: a gentle ride on every level, flowers everywhere, and a view from the top.

Twist
Every terrace is a narrow shelf: link them with the stairs, and spread your rides over the levels.
Goal
350 guests, a rating of 620 and working rides on 4 different terrace levels, by the end of Year 2

Premium★★★★★

Island Archipelago

Seven islands in a turquoise lagoon and a thin strip of mainland. Land is precious: bridge the gaps, run ferries and build out to the far island.

An old ferry still putters across to Main Island, but the rest of the archipelago is palm trees and seabirds. Buy the islands you need, string them together with raised walkways and ferries, and turn the lagoon into the most beautiful park on the coast.

Twist
Very little land, and it isn’t cheap. The lagoon is protected: bridges and ferries only, no land reclamation.
Goal
450 guests, a rating of 650 and 4 islands linked to the gate by walkway or ferry, by the end of Year 2

Premium★★★★★

Summit Peak

A park on a mountain: a cable lift to the summit, steep rocky slopes, a tarn and a shelf halfway up. Send coasters diving down the mountainside.

The old ski lift still runs from the valley to the summit plateau, and the view from the top is famous. The resort wants a summer park: a ride on the peak, coasters that dive down the slopes and paths that wind up the mountain. Mountain weather comes in fast: pack umbrellas.

Twist
Steep slopes everywhere: build on the summit, the shelf and the foothills, and link them with lifts and switchbacks.
Goal
A park rating of 720 held for 6 days, a ride up on the summit and a coaster with a 40 m drop, by the end of Year 3

Premium★★★★★

Frozen Resort

A snowbound valley with three frozen lakes and a cosy ski lodge. You open in the dead of winter: switch on the Winter Lights and build for spring.

The lodge at Frostvale has been closed for years. You have the keys, a snowplough and a small loan, and it is the middle of winter. Light up the valley, invest in winter works while building is cheap, make it through the summer, and be ready for a record crowd under the Winter Lights next year.

Twist
You start in winter, and the goal runs to the end of next winter: the cold months matter as much as the summer.
Goal
A park rating of 680 and 250 guests at once in the winter, by the end of Winter, Year 1

Canyon Run: The canyon cuts the map in two: only raised walkways on tall supports get guests across. by dayCanyon Run: The canyon cuts the map in two: only raised walkways on tall supports get guests across. at night

Premium★★★★★

Canyon Run

Red-rock mesas split by a deep river canyon. The far rim is prime land: span the gorge, and dive a coaster into it.

Everyone said nobody could build a park on Coyote Canyon. The south rim is yours, the north rim is for sale, and between them is a 30-metre drop to the river. Engineers love it. Throw a walkway across the gorge, send a coaster screaming down into the canyon and make the desert pay.

Twist
The canyon cuts the map in two: only raised walkways on tall supports get guests across.
Goal
A park value of $70,000, a coaster with a 30 m drop and a walkway across the canyon to the north rim, by the end of Year 3

Premium★★★★★

Tiny City Lot

A cramped plot between tower blocks and an old car-park deck. Land costs a fortune: build up, stack walkways over your coasters and pack in the fun.

The city sold you the old car park downtown on one condition: make it the most exciting block in town. There is barely room to swing a cat, the neighbours’ towers loom on every side and the few free parcels cost a fortune. Build up: towers, a coaster weaving under raised walkways, and not a tile wasted.

Twist
Tiny land, pricey parcels (4× the usual price) and tycoon-strict guests. Tall rides and clever stacking are the only way.
Goal
400 guests and a rating of 700 held for 6 hours, with three tall rides, by the end of Year 3

Volcano Island

A jungle island around a dormant volcano, with steam vents, a glowing crater and a mountain that rumbles now and then (perfectly safely, the geologist insists).

Mount Kahuna has not erupted in four hundred years, but it still grumbles: the vents steam, the crater glows red at night and every so often the whole island hums. The tourists love it. Build a jungle park on the lowlands, run a cable lift to the lookout on the rim and put on a show for the Great Rumble.

Twist
The cone is far too steep for paths: reach the rim by cable lift. Tycoon-strict guests, a big loan, and the Great Rumble draws crowds.
Goal
550 guests and a rating of 700 held for 3 hours, with a ride up at the crater rim, by the end of Year 3
