In the game
A pretty lake draws visitors every summer. Turn the lakeshore into a destination.
A lake takes up prime land — plan your paths around it.
Lakeside Leisure is a money chapter: the goal is park value, which grows with every ride you own and how new it is. The lake fills the best land, so plan the path loop around the shore first, then fill the space between with rides.
The Log Flume starts unlocked, and water rides boom in a heat wave, so a lakeside park that leans on water rides earns well through the summer. Keep the value climbing by adding rides steadily rather than spending everything at once.

The map
Lakeside Leisure is a 64 × 64 tile map of land round a lake, played on the Standard setting. You start with $12,000 in cash and a loan of $12,000 at 8% interest, and the bank lends up to $30,000. Research starts with a budget of $300. It is free, part of the five-chapter campaign.
Goals
The goal: Park value of $40,000 by the end of Year 2.
Bonus goals: 500 guests at once; No litter complaints for a month; Rating above 750; No more than 6% 1-star reviews in a month.
Ready to build from the start: Merry-Go-Round, Spinning Teacups, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Burger Bar, Drinks Stall, Ice Cream Kiosk, Popcorn Stand, Balloon Stall, Toilets, Information Kiosk, Log Flume, Haunted House, Swing Ride, Lemonade Stand and Junior Coaster; everything else is researched.
Building tips
- Walk the whole shore with one loop of path before you place any big ride.
- Buy rides that hold their value: new rides are worth more than old ones.
- One bonus goal wants no litter complaints for a month: bins every few tiles.
