In the game
You bought a failing park with dirty paths and worn-out rides. The bank is watching. Turn it around.
Starts with old rides, litter everywhere and a big loan.
Rusty Rides Rescue starts with a park already built, and every part of it needs work: rides that break down, litter everywhere, very little cash and a loan close to its limit. There is no research budget at the start, so fixing what you have comes before anything new.
The goal is a high park rating and winning back the reviewers, measured as a month with few 1-star reviews. Mechanics, handymen and refurbishments turn the park around; a Drop Tower is in the starting kit for when there is money to spend.

The map
Rusty Rides Rescue is a 56 × 56 tile map of flat meadow land, played on the Standard setting. You start with $3,000 in cash and a loan of $25,000 at 9% interest, and the bank lends up to $30,000. Research starts with no budget. It is free, part of the five-chapter campaign.
Goals
The goal: Raise the park rating to 700 and win back the reviewers: a month with no more than 20% 1-star reviews, by the end of Year 2.
Bonus goals: Pay off the loan; Hire an entertainer; Keep every ride above 60% reliability; Get 100 five-star reviews.
Ready to build from the start: Merry-Go-Round, Spinning Teacups, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Burger Bar, Drinks Stall, Ice Cream Kiosk, Popcorn Stand, Balloon Stall, Toilets, Information Kiosk, Swing Ride, Drop Tower and Wooden Coaster; everything else is researched.
Building tips
- Hire mechanics and handymen on day one, and set inspections on every ride.
- Close the worst ride and refurbish it rather than letting it break down in front of guests.
- Pay down the loan when you can: its interest eats the profit.
