In the game
Big land, big expectations. Guests are picky, rides wear out fast and money is tight.
Tycoon difficulty: faster breakdowns, stricter guests.
Tycoon Valley plays on the Tycoon difficulty: rides lose reliability half as fast again as usual, and guests are harder to please. The map is the largest of the free chapters, hilly like Hilltop Fair, and the goal is the biggest crowd of the campaign with a high rating, over three years.
Everything the earlier chapters taught matters here at once: terrain, a clean park, good staff, fair prices and a steady flow of new rides through research. It is the chapter where planning the park’s layout before building pays off most.

The map
Tycoon Valley is a 80 × 80 tile map of rolling hills, played on the Tycoon setting. You start with $10,000 in cash and a loan of $20,000 at 10% interest, and the bank lends up to $40,000. Research starts with a budget of $300. It is free, part of the five-chapter campaign. On Tycoon, rides wear half as fast again and guests are harder to please.
Goals
The goal: 600 guests with a rating of 700 by the end of Year 3.
Bonus goals: Park value above $80,000; Profit of $10,000 in one month; Five-star newspaper review; Average review 4.0★ or better for 6 days.
Ready to build from the start: Merry-Go-Round, Spinning Teacups, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Burger Bar, Drinks Stall, Ice Cream Kiosk, Popcorn Stand, Balloon Stall, Toilets, Information Kiosk, Swing Ride and Junior Coaster; everything else is researched.
Building tips
- Spend the first year on a solid core: gentle rides, food, toilets and staff.
- Keep research running all the time: the starting kit is small.
- Watch reliability on every ride: breakdowns cost rating and reviews.
