Terms

These are simple, honest terms for an indie game in early development. They will be reviewed and expanded before anything important changes. By playing you agree to them.

The game

Park Baron runs in your browser. It is in early development: features change, bugs happen, and we keep improving it. We do our best to keep your saves safe, but please don't rely on the game as the only copy of anything precious.

Free to play

Park Baron is free to play, forever, with no time limit and no card needed. A free account includes the full five-chapter campaign, one sandbox park on a small map, the core rides, coasters and shops, two decoration themes, 3 cloud save slots, visiting friends' parks, reviews and the leaderboards. Please use one account per person.

Park Baron Premium

• A one-time payment (the lifetime product "Park Baron Premium"), not a subscription. It adds the premium scenarios and every future campaign and map, unlimited sandbox parks with large and custom map sizes, every ride, shop, showpiece and theme except paid decoration packs, 20 cloud save slots, and the online extras: friends can visit your parks, official records and the Baron badge. It includes all future updates of the browser game.
• The first 100 buyers pay the $7 launch price; after that the price is $14. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay.
• Everyone who bought the earlier lifetime unlock has Park Baron Premium, at no extra cost.
• If you play free, your parks stay yours. A park that needs Premium (for example a premium scenario or a large sandbox map) opens read-only until you go Premium; we never delete it.
• If something goes wrong with a purchase, contact us and we'll make it right.

Refunds

Changed your mind? You get a full refund of Park Baron Premium or a decoration pack within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or message us on X at @avniyayin. The money goes back to the card you paid with, and what you bought is removed: after a Premium refund your account is a free account again. Your parks and saves are kept (parks that need Premium open read-only). After 14 days, contact us anyway if something went wrong: we'll look at every case fairly. This doesn't limit any rights you have under your local consumer law.

Decoration packs

Decoration packs (for example Spooky Hollow) are optional purchases, always sold separately: they are not part of Premium, and Premium owners buy them like everyone else. They never give an advantage on the leaderboards.

Fair play

Leaderboards are for real play. Cheating, tampering with the game or the servers, or abusing other players can get parks removed from the boards or accounts closed. Park and display names must not be offensive or impersonate others; we may rename or remove them.

Your content

Your parks are yours. By publishing a park to the leaderboards you let us show its name, scores and snapshot on the site and in the game.
