In the game
A snowbound valley with three frozen lakes and a cosy ski lodge. You open in the dead of winter: switch on the Winter Lights and build for spring.
You start in winter, and the goal runs to the end of next winter: the cold months matter as much as the summer.
The lodge at Frostvale has been closed for years. You have the keys, a snowplough and a small loan, and it is the middle of winter. Light up the valley, invest in winter works while building is cheap, make it through the summer, and be ready for a record crowd under the Winter Lights next year.
Frozen Resort starts in the winter before Year 1, when water rides are closed and guests are few, and the goal runs to the end of the next winter. The cold months matter as much as the summer: the goal needs a big crowd in the park during that second winter.
Building in winter is cheaper, so the first winter is the time for works. The climate is cold, with snow in spring and autumn, and the kit includes the Bobsled Coaster and the Enchanted Garden theme with its fairy lights.

The map
Frozen Resort is a 72 × 72 tile map of a snowbound valley with three frozen lakes, played on the Standard setting, with the weather cold, with snow in spring and autumn. You start with $12,000 in cash and a loan of $12,000 at 8% interest, and the bank lends up to $36,000. Its water is protected: it can’t be filled in. The park opens in the winter before Year 1. Research starts with a budget of $300. It comes with Park Baron Premium.
Goals
The goal: A park rating of 680 and 250 guests at once in the winter, by the end of Winter, Year 1.
Bonus goals: Finish the winter works in your first winter; Run the Winter Lights in both winters; Build a Bobsled Coaster; Average review 4.0★ or better for 3 days.
Ready to build from the start: Merry-Go-Round, Spinning Teacups, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Burger Bar, Drinks Stall, Ice Cream Kiosk, Popcorn Stand, Balloon Stall, Toilets, Information Kiosk, Haunted House, Swing Ride, Coffee Cart, Hot Dog Stand, Mini Train, Junior Coaster, Bobsled Coaster and Enchanted Garden; everything else is researched.
The suggested theme is Enchanted Garden: a frost-fairy wood: glowing mushrooms and ice-crystal arches in the snow. It starts researched.
Building tips
- Use the first winter for building: it is the cheapest season.
- Run the Winter Lights in both winters: it is a bonus goal and draws the crowd you need.
- Don’t count on water rides: they close for the winter.
