In the game
Red-rock mesas split by a deep river canyon. The far rim is prime land: span the gorge, and dive a coaster into it.
The canyon cuts the map in two: only raised walkways on tall supports get guests across.
Everyone said nobody could build a park on Coyote Canyon. The south rim is yours, the north rim is for sale, and between them is a 30-metre drop to the river. Engineers love it. Throw a walkway across the gorge, send a coaster screaming down into the canyon and make the desert pay.
Canyon Run cuts the map in two: only raised walkways on tall supports get guests across to the north rim, and a walkway across is part of the goal. The canyon is also a ready-made drop: a coaster that dives from the rim into the gorge scores the drop goals.
The climate is dry desert heat, with rain turning to sunshine and heat waves in the summer months. The kit has the Mine Train, the Steel Looping Coaster, Go-Karts and the Wild West theme, and the goal is a high park value by the end of Year 3.

The map
Canyon Run is a 80 × 80 tile map of land split by a 30-metre canyon, played on the Standard setting, with the weather dry desert heat. You start with $15,000 in cash and a loan of $15,000 at 9% interest, and the bank lends up to $45,000. Research starts with a budget of $300. It comes with Park Baron Premium.
Goals
The goal: A park value of $70,000, a coaster with a 30 m drop and a walkway across the canyon to the north rim, by the end of Year 3.
Bonus goals: A coaster with a 40 m drop into the canyon; Build a Mine Train; Profit of $8,000 in one month; Average review 4.0★ or better for 3 days.
Ready to build from the start: Merry-Go-Round, Spinning Teacups, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Burger Bar, Drinks Stall, Ice Cream Kiosk, Popcorn Stand, Balloon Stall, Toilets, Information Kiosk, Go-Karts, Swing Ride, Pirate Ship, Hot Dog Stand, Lemonade Stand, Mine Train, Steel Looping Coaster, Junior Coaster and Wild West; everything else is researched.
The suggested theme is Wild West: a frontier town on the rim: saloons, cacti and a runaway mine train. It starts researched.
Building tips
- Build the bridge early so both rims earn money.
- Put a coaster’s biggest drop into the canyon itself.
- Drinks and shade sell well in the desert heat.
