In the game
The Wild Mouse is made for tight turns: it can take the smallest curves in the game and climb steep slopes, but it can’t loop. Its trains are tiny, two cars of two seats, so each run carries few riders and a long line forms quickly on a busy day.
Its tight, flat turns throw riders sideways, and the type carries a little extra nausea of its own, so a layout of hairpin after hairpin can leave guests green. Its compact footprint is its big strength: a tower of switchbacks stacks a long ride above a few tiles of land.
In Park Baron the Wild Mouse can rise 45 m above the ground under its track. It can build steep slopes and tight turns, but not loops and corkscrews and vertical drops and top hats. Its trains run 2 cars of 2 seats, 4 riders a train, and its station is 4 to 6 tiles long. Track costs $55 a piece and the station $900; it costs $550 a month to run, and guests pay $3 a ride by default. The type adds 0.45 excitement to whatever the track earns and 0.3 nausea, and its rolling friction is 0.013. Children are too short to ride it. It is free to build.
Its showpiece design, Attic Scramble, climbs 36 m, reaches 74 km/h and pulls 3.8 g, with 0 inversions over 259 m of track and a 34-second ride. It rates 5.77 excitement, 5.18 intensity and 4.28 nausea, costs $5,606 and fills 8 × 17 tiles.

The three ready-made designs
Every coaster type comes with a starter, a crowd-pleaser and a showpiece. These are the Wild Mouse’s, tested with the game’s own physics.

Building tips
- Stack the hairpins on the top level, then drop in short, steep dives: that is the classic mouse rhythm.
- Use block brakes to run more than one train: the small cars are the ride’s bottleneck.
- On a cramped map like Tiny City Lot, a Wild Mouse tower gives a lot of ride for very little land.
The real thing
Real wild mouse coasters use single cars that pivot through unbanked hairpins at the top of the structure, so riders feel the car is about to run off the edge.
