Ride it backwards

Shuttle coasters, staff you can tell apart, fountains on your paths, and shade from rain and sun.

  • Boomerang, Launched Shuttle and Reverse Freefall
  • Staff in their own hats, at work
  • Fountains and statues on your paths
  • Parasols, shelters and drinking fountains

Everything in this update (11)
  • Shuttle coasters: the Boomerang, the Launched Shuttle and the Reverse Freefall race out of the station, climb until they stop and roll back through it backwards
  • Shuttle mode for the Launched, Mega and Winged coasters, with vertical climbs, vertical plunges and spike ends in the coaster editor; set the runs and the launch speed
  • Staff you can tell apart at a glance: every role has its own hat and something in hand, a pose for each job and a sign over their head while they work
  • Fountains, statues and planters can stand on your paths; if one would cut a path off, Pave round it lays a ring of path in one click, and the paths come back when it goes
  • Shade and shelter: parasols and covered walkways over your paths and canopies over queue lines keep guests dry in the rain and cool in a heat wave
  • Drinking fountains: thirsty guests walking past stop for a free gulp of water
  • Undo and redo: a whole drag is one step, the coaster editor’s pieces and station can be undone with Ctrl+Z, and redo brings back the very same ride
  • Drawing a footpath across a queue line leaves the line alone, and coaster supports follow the land when you raise or lower it under the track
  • Ride and shop Income tabs show what the ride really costs to run, and opening the park keeps the shops you closed shut
  • Queue waits, time in the park and downtime are shown in game time everywhere, and event cards show the hour each show really starts
  • Saving: Save as asks before replacing another park’s save, and F9 says how to save first when there is nothing to reload yet
