A walkway across a lake with a drinks kiosk, a Burger Bar and a restaurant on piers beside it. Guests queue on the walkway and buy over the counter
A raised walkway dragged across a path becomes a footbridge: guests cross on top while others walk along the path underneath
A Burger Bar built under the high walkway, beside the ground path. The tile over the stall needs no legs; the one next to it carries the deck
The Floodlight Tower (Premium) on a plaza after dark: the lattice mast floods the whole square white, and tired guests sit on its ledge
A Balloon Stall selling two colours, blue and pink: every balloon it sells is one of them. Two have slipped away and are drifting off on the wind
The loading bar while a park opens: windows first, then the rides and shops, the effects and the park itself, so the first click on a build window opens it at once
🎢 Open runs the test first. Here a piece past a gap doesn’t meet the track: the ride stays closed, the note names the piece, and the editor is on it
A station lengthened in the middle of an edit: three pieces cut before it, ▶ to the station’s back end, and a station piece built there; the editor offers the next one
Everything in this update (23)
- Stalls on piers: place a stall, a kiosk or a restaurant on the water beside a raised walkway and it stands on a pier, its counter on the walkway
- Build under and beside bridges: trees, stalls and paths go under a raised walkway where they fit, and you can raise or lower the land under it and beside it. Its legs follow the ground
- Join two paths in one drag: press on one path and let go on another, and the route between them is built at any height, with stairs and supports. One Ctrl+Z takes it back
- Footbridges: a raised walkway dragged across a path becomes a footbridge over it, and guests walk over it and under it. A chairlift or monorail station on a walkway over water gets its booths on piers
- Swan Boats in the ride window’s 🦢 Boats tab: let the boats roam the open lake, or lay a course of buoys from the boathouse for them to follow ($15 a buoy). Boats pass under walkways two steps up or more
- Guest thoughts: the same thought never shows twice in a guest’s list, praise for the park’s looks comes once a visit, a ride stops being “amazing” after a guest has had their fill, and there are new lines for heat with no shade, walking over the water and a mess you had cleaned up
- Loans: a slider in the Finance window borrows or repays in $1,000 steps, up to your limit and as far as your cash goes. The interest shows a month, as it is charged
- Errors caused by browser add-ons are no longer reported as game errors
- A fast click or a lifted touch at the start of a drag no longer throws
- A loading bar while a park opens: windows, ride models and effects get ready first, so the first click on a build window opens it at once (on our slowest test machine the Rides window went from 21 seconds to under half a second). Card pictures finish quietly in the background
- Riders to scale: on 35 flat rides the seats, cars and riders are drawn bigger, close to the size of the guests on the paths, and the Swing Ride has grown within its own 4×4
- Wide paths (2 and 3 tiles) line up exactly from one drag to the next
- Bigger balloons on longer strings. A Balloon Stall sells one colour, two or the mix (its window’s Look tab), and its bunch shows them
- Runaway balloons: kids, wind, a thrill ride just ridden and a crowded path loosen the grip, and a lost balloon drifts away on the wind for half a minute. A grown-up may buy the child another
- Paths window: 🖌️ Repaint. 🪣 Click a path to repaint every joined tile of its style, or ▭ drag a box over footpaths or queue lines. The price shows first, and Ctrl+Z takes it back. Shift + right-drag offers it too
- The style list beside the Paths window closes as soon as you pick, shows a style’s details when you point at it, and its sample is two tiles with a lamp
- A new game always starts paused, also after the briefing and the pause menu: press ▶ when you are ready
- Blueprint cards are drawn in your park’s colours, and their tip says which surfaces the paths are laid in
- The Park window shows the top-tier curve on its own plain line, not in red among the rating’s losses
- Track editor: a piece goes wherever it fits, and ▶ Test and 🎢 Open name any piece that doesn’t meet the station or the track
- Lengthen a station in the middle of an edit: a station piece fits beside a gap and at the station’s back end, and ◀ ▶ reach both sides of a cut (Build on from here)
- 🎢 Open runs the test first: a track that passes opens with its results, and one that fails stays closed with the editor on the piece to fix
- Floodlight Tower (Premium, $3,400): a 2×2 stadium floodlight for your plaza, a lattice mast taller than any lamp that floods the square white after dark, with a ledge to sit on
