BeforeAfterEverything in this update (11)
- Guests explore (new parks): a guest knows only the rides and shops they have seen, ridden, found on a park map or heard about from other guests, and goes looking for the rest. Curious parties walk the paths they haven’t seen, a long line sends some off for a look round first, and some take a last look round on the way out; seeing a new corner of the park cheers a party up. A ride in a far corner stays quiet until guests find it and word gets round, and its window says how few know of it and how to spread the word. Parks you already have keep their guests as they were
- In new parks, guests who can’t find a toilet, a drink or food only get directions from staff or other guests nearby, and Manage › Problems shows where they’re stuck
- Drinking fountains take the edge off thirst; really thirsty guests who know a drinks stall walk on to it
- Guests judge what they see on the way: a ride with no line, a huge line, a nearer toilet
- The ride window and Marketing show what’s on your posters; arrivals say which ride they saw on them
- Guests who don’t fancy exploring buy a park map at the Information Kiosk
- Queue lines: a flat queue tile now carries on from the top of a ramp at its height (on supports, over uneven ground or water too), and a queue dragged on from beside its end starts at that end’s height instead of dropping to the ground (thanks to a player’s report)
- Paths: a ride’s IN or OUT booth can be picked to join it to your paths: drag from the booth to a path (or from a path to the booth), or click it with Step by step’s 🎯 Pick to build on from its front
- Ride entrances and exits now stand level with the ride’s floor, beside it, never a step above it or inside the ride: the red spots say how far off they are and how to fix it. Booths already in your parks stay where they are
- A tip’s highlight ring no longer swallows the click on the button it points at: after a long session, toolbar buttons could stop opening their windows (thanks to a player’s report)
- Saving tries again on a brief network hiccup instead of failing at once; after an update, a window that can’t load asks you to reload instead of showing an error; a graphics card reset no longer fills the screen with errors
