Past the fence

The land rolls on past your park, first person gets a real sky, and your park gets its name.

Published 29 September 2026

  • Hills, mountains, mesas, a skyline or the sea past every edge
  • Parks start paused and quiet until you press play
  • Build menus at the side, with only what you can build
  • Name your park
Everything in this update (9)
  • Every park starts paused: a “Paused” tip says how to play, and the park goes quiet until you do
  • Your park needs a name of its own: new parks and scenarios ask for one, and older parks still called “My Park” ask once
  • Build menus show only what you can build now; the scenery and blueprint windows sit at the side so you can see where you place
  • Tips point at what they teach, and “Got it” and “Turn tips off” close them
  • Click the torch parade, the band and other event people to see who they are
  • The world no longer ends at the park edge: hills, mountains, mesas, a city plain or the sea roll on to a hazy horizon, depending on the map
  • First person and coaster rides get a real sky: sun, moon, stars, drifting clouds, dawn and dusk glow, and far silhouettes for every map
  • Fixed: undoing the demolition of a broken ride could leave it waiting for a mechanic who never came (parks saved like this repair on load)
  • Fixed: workers and guest groups that could get stuck for good at transport stations, the pickpocket left in a queue, Esc now leaves photo mode
